Thomas Olmsted is the newest member of the TROY baseball team. He is on the team as a pitcher and looks to get some playing time if he keeps throwing the way he is right now.

One of my friends went to High School with him...she said he was an awesome soccer player...but since we don't have a men's soccer team, I guess he's found another way of staying in shape in the off-season. Sure hope he doesn't hurt that leg!

It will be more than a month before he actually takes the mound in competition, but I hope that I am lucky enough to see it. According to some on the team, he is impressing with his ability, but he is just not in baseball pitching shape yet.

I wonder if he blows on his hands before every pitch. That would really drag the game out.
