My father grew up in Carson, California which is in LA....they moved to Alabama when he was 15 and he hasn't been back...and I never understood why. When I got back he asked me if I understood why he won't go back. He said San Diego is pretty nice, but we didn't go that far south...

That's just it...we were in San Jose...we don't lose at home. We could've easily had the bowl in Troy!! Better stadium, better weather, we GAVE them a freakin sponsor! Not really fair b/c of the home-field advantage...but if Hawaii can do it, why couldn't we? San Jose was a poop-hole...almost as bad as LA!
