Maestri has been here forever and has had a great hisotry of success. One year doesn't mean squat. And we aren't even into conference play completely. Sorry, we Troy doesn't just toss coaches out like Ole Miss and Notre Dame. As a matter of fact, Troy is one of only 2 schools in the nation with the same football and basketball coaches it had in 1991. I heard that the other day...I think that's accurate.

Anyway, consistency is good. We'll be fine.

UCF, if you really believe that, then Kirk should be as good as gone to you after the 00-01 season when we won 6 games total, without as much previous success to fall back on.

Troy would have at 3-4 wins if they played our schedule this year.

Troy is now the only Division I school in the nation with the same head basketball and football coaches since 1991. Syracuse just fired football coach Paul Pasqualoni after 14 seasons. And Jim Boeheim (basketball coach of the Orange) has been there for roughly 20 years - if not longer.

Hey UCF, what blow outs are you talking about? I seem to recall a blow out in your arena a year ago when Troy came down and whopped your boys GOOD in front of the largest basketball crowd in UCF history. I wouldn't be talking too much smack with your team at 1-3 in the confrence. Oh yes, you are doing well over all, but as you know, they only invite the winner of the A-Sun conference championship game to the big dance.
