Band=lack of discretion

How about the fact that this university puts the band up on a pedestal. Why do we praise a band that plays while the offense is trying to call audibles at the line? Why do we admire a band that plays while a former student/athlete is being honored between quarters or when United States Veterans are being recognized? If you go to any other university, they have a disciplined band that knows when to play and when not to play. We apparently haven't reached that point yet. I think we should pay for our band to go to some kind of band etiquette camp. And for the love of pete play when the other team has the ball rather than when we have a third and long. Take this to heart as you may go to California.

Aww man.. don't get the band folks all rowdied up again. We just went through a whole week of Band Sucks/ Band Rules posts... got old.

WAIT JUST A FREAKIN MINUTE, OUR BAND TOOK AN ENTIRE HALFTIME SHOW ( MIDDLE TENN. GAME ), WHICH TOOK AN ENTIRE MONTH TO LEARN A WHOLE FREAKIN SALUTE TO VETERNS HALFTIME SHOW, to only perform it one time, so dont fuss about when or what the band plays. I just had to put the final word in on that post!! OUR BAND AND FOOTBALL TEAM ARE GREAT SO LETS NOT EVEN FUSS ABOUT EITHER ONE, WE SHOULD BE PROUD OF BOTH!!!

This is the kind of post War and I were saying would probably be more suited for a new forum on gotroytrojans.com, yeah it related to football, but it is MORE about the band. Love the SOTS and do not associate myself with the opinions in this thread, just feel they would be better in a BAND forum on gotroytrojans.com.

Swingline, that's a low blow and totally out of line. Your charges are false.

There needs to be a rule here that if you're going to make charges against someone or thing, you need to have the guts (I wanted to write another word) to use your real name.
