I'm signed up. Are we playing for bragging rights?

No. I'll come up with some type of prize for the winner. As soon as I decide what the prize will be, I'll let everyone know. All I can tell you is the value of the prize will NOT exceed $10,000.

So there's no chance of winning free gas for a year?

Good one Rob! Although with my Civic that would definitely cover my gas for a year and allow more road trips for the games.

I would say that is highly unlikely.

I fill up every 2 weeks at about $35-40 bucks. Even with prices rising that 10k would cover me. It wouldn't cover most but my office is less than 1 mile from my apartment. Church is 10 miles on Sunday so my gas tank lasts a long time aside from a roadtrip.

Sorry, what I meant is that it's highly unlikely the prize will be free gas.

How about some free tickets to Troy events for the next season? There's an idea.

I want to win. No offense owls.

I did due to confusion. Woul FAU have to beat Texas or would they just have to cover the spread?

Where did you see the spread in there? I don't think they put those out on Yahoo until next week. But I looked at the settings, and it does appear that we are set up to pick against the spread.

Is the 2.5 points for the Auburn/LSU game this week the spread or the over/under?

I think it's both!!!

Anyone checked the standings lately? I'm only 5 points out of the lead. Where is everyone else? I noticed that some of the names used on there are not poster's names here, and wasn't sure who was who.

I skipped a week or two back when I moved. Otherwise I would be right up towards the top. I've got 90 points so far.

Yeah, I figured that much out!

I just don't know who tdmaker, picker, sixx pack and others are, and can't tell by their e-mail address or other stuff on there. And there is a bhm trojan and a birmingham trojan, and I don't know which is which.

Figured I'd better say it now. It might change this weekend.

I'm jcosker or whatever combo of initials and name I used.

And I'm just hitting my stride, making up 3 points on Hemi Man this week. 10/17 for the week, and up to 107 on the year. 4 weeks left.

The games I missed were:

Texas 28 pt faves over Baylor, won by 24.
Georgia 10.5 pt faves over Kentucky, won by 4.
Penn State 7.5 faves over Iowa, lost outright.
WVU 6.5 pt faves over Cincy, lost outright.
Missouri 27 pt faves over KSU, won by 17.
USC 21 pt faves over Cal, won by 14.

Also, 19.5 pt spread for our game in Baton Rouge this weekend.

After most of the group went 10/17 this week, I'm still in 3rd place, two points off the leader.

Seeing as how I missed two weeks I'm doing pretty good.

Not bad. I stunk it up the last week, but still came out the winner by one point. 2/7 on the last week, but it looked like no one else did better than 4/7. Ball State, Alabama, and Boston College screwed me up. I guess I shouldn't have picked Ball to cover, but I don't think anyone saw them losing by 18. Alabama had it covered until that last TD by Florida. BC was a pick the winner game, and they should have at least kept it close.
