I know there is an off week coming up, but what do we know about ASU's team?
By the way, I was one of those who left early--but I had to get my daughter to her ballgame to cheer. Otherwise, we'd've been there til the end!
GO TROY!

They appear to be a scoring machine. I am hoping our defense can slow their pass happy offense.

They gave Memphis all they could handle (should have won)and almost pulled off the win AT Ole Miss. I think they outgained the Rebels and could have won except for two second half turnovers. This is a very dangerous team. We better play our A game or we could be in for another NMSU situation.

Yes, we led the entire game against #25 Memphis despite the CUSA officials; we lost the game in the final four minutes. Against Ole Miss we led at the half and began the 2d half by fumbling twice; we lost the game by 1 TD.
Expect a good game at ASU; our offense finally has a good QB and our freshman defense improves game-to-game. Next year we will definitely be a threat to many teams and will challenge for the NO Bowl slot.

Despite us being in the Sub-Par-Belt I am glad and I appreciate the fact that our teams are either beating or giving those "big turds" a hard time. WE are going to earn our respect the right way and the hard way...SCREW the BCS..and screw the rest of those other so called "power conferences"

Hey, after your NMSU game why not?
LOL!!!
Seriously, I can think of no school that would be dumb enough to consider Troy as Homecoming fodder. I think our Homecoming crowd will see a very good game between two good SBC football teams.
Go SBC Football!!!

In retrospect, Troy's scheduling of FAU for Homecoming was probably not wise.
Let's hope for a repeat of Starkeville when Troy goes to LSU's Homecoming in a few weeks.

I don't think their are any easy teams out there. Everyone wants to win. On paper we should have beat NMSU but on that day they wanted it more. Missouri learned the same thing in Troy. Plus there is a big home field advantage in football

Hey Badgerwolf,
What is tailgating like at ASU? Where do people park when they come into the games? What is the "official" versus "unofficial" policy on having coolers and such in the parking lots before games? Why is your Homecoming game at night? How hard will it be to get tickets that day?
Any insight you can provide is appreciated.

Mike McCarty was at troy 97 and 98, the best recievers coach i ever played for by far. He was OC at Stoney Brook before going to ASU. a good guy and a great coach, i tell you he has input in to the offensive system there i bet.

Sorry, I cannot answer your questions. I live in Madison, WI and do not get back to ASU very often. I follow them from afar!
Tailgating is big at ASU; post that question on Tribalgrounds and you will get a ton of responses from the Jonesboro fans. Link is:

ASU fans are very hospitable and you will probably be invited to tailgate with the guys in Jboro.
