I did not get to make the game today and was unable to pick up the game on the internet as I am still in the dial-up age and it stinks. I could not get a good connection all game long and now wouldn't you know it I'm on. ANYWAY!!!! I don't know where this offense has been but great win. 35 - 0 at the half!!! One word - WOW!!! And Leodis McKelvin true freshmen from Waycross, GA about 35 minutes from my house in south GA with a 71 yd. Int. Return for a TD. YEAH!!! I met Leodis in the mall in Waycross this summer before he reported to Troy.

Had a chance to talk to Leodis today...real quite kid. Poised. Not your typical freshman football player. Blakeney and Koenning are high on McKelvin and Sherrod Martin.

He was very quite and shy. But he was also very respectful. He was the talk of the school in Waycross and everyone who I talked to about his performance in High School all had great comments about him.
